Due to the nature of the book, I would say it's suitable for mature readers. The actual sexual content is minimal, but the heat is still there. Building up the story-line and well as building up the sexual tension. This book is more about the build up for the books to follow.
(For better or worse.) This series does fit in with the Fixed world and you will recognize some of the characters, but you do not need to read those books to follow. Alpha males who have a way of always getting the upper hand with the women in their lives. If you have read any of the books in the Fixed or Dirty Universe you will be familiar with the type of characters this author writes so well. You'll be making all kinds of predictions as to what will happen. It took me a little while to really get into it, but once that happened it was hard to put down.
